Earliest Known Usage of The Sarawak Red Receipt Stamp by John Teo
The second receipt stamp in carmine or red is previously reported to be issued in 1883. However, my recent acquisition of a document dated 9th March 1880 surely backdated the date of issue of the carmine 3c receipt stamp to 1880 or earlier. (published in Sarawak Philatelist June 2003)
