Borneo Stamp Exhibition'03

This was the first time since 1999 that the society's exhibition was not held in conjunction with Kuching Festival celebration. This was mainly due to the need of seeking  the most suitable time for the participants from Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia to visit Kuching. The exhibition was held as a part of PSKS 10th Anniversary celebration program.

(1) Set of 3 limited edition B/W picture postcards with serial number(500  of each) and 3  pictorial cachets each with different day theme were issued.

All three postcards are the reproduction from the photos taken by Mr. Joseph Kueh in 1950s. they are depicting (i)the castle looked old Tourist Office by river side in Kuching, (ii)Transport Station at Gambier Road, Kuching and (iii) Aerora Hotel at McDougall Road, Kuching* respectively. Thanks to Mr. Kueh for his kindness.

*The Aerora postcards were initially printed laterally inverse, this error was not realized until latter date and by then, all the postcards had already been sold out. The printer reprinted the corrected postcards and  most of these postcards have been distributed to the original buyers.
