The Tribunal is an assemblage of counselors and judges called Tribunes appointed by the clergy. The duty of the Tribunal is to see to the quality of life for all inhabitants of Sol' Dennai, and rulings by them are final and inarguable. These duties may be delegated to a thane though their decision may be reviewed by the Tribunal upon request.
Each thane will report directly to the Tribunal no less than once a month at which time they will receive monthly funding for the Shire for which they are responsible. Likewise, Touts will report bimonthly.
The primary seat of all goings on in Sol' Dennai is Lankoun, a hub of commerce and activity located in the Sulbiege Plains which are located roughly in the center of the settled region known as Agin. The Tribunal oversees all things from this location with the aid of the thanes of each of the smaller shires. The thanes in turn delegate responsibility to the touts of the still smaller parishes.
Thanes and Touts can be referred to collectively as wardens but not as a title.
Rather than forums and guilds, registration will be through the Shire or Parish in which a citizen chooses to live. We feel this is less likely to inspire a competitive nature and perhaps instill a sense of pride and community which should encourage some semblance of unity and promote focus on the character itself rather than it's statistics and such. To be recognized for play, a character must be a registered citizen of a recognized shire
or parish. The exception to this rule is first time visitors, characters of a 'vagabond' or nomadic nature and in rare situations, allowances for SL development. These cases must still be made known to the Tribunal beforehand.
Citizens may not be recruited from existing shires or parishes under any circumstances. Citizens may choose to move from one settlement to another as they wish but keep in mind that it is not simply a matter of saying you moved to begin a new life in a new shire or parish and there is always a chance of misfortune striking along the way. Of course, this chance of misfortune increases for those who travel more
frequently. In other words.. you will be required to RP every move your character makes so.
