The Psi Sigma Omega fraternity was founded on Friday 30 September 2005 in Landstuhl, Germany. It was founded by 8 members who were seeking to build a brotherhood and an organization committed to excellence and trust. Psi Sigma Omega was the first military based fraternal organization founded for both undergraduate students and service members serving overseas and within the fifty continental United States.

From its inception, the fraternity has worked to build a strong and effective bond of men dedicated to the principles of brotherhood, leadership, trust, commitment, and fortitude. Members are known for distinguishing themselves from others by displaying and carrying with them, a higher standard of values, academics, athletics, and leader qualities. The Psi Sigma Omega fraternity is striving to establish and expand its membership from its origin in Landstuhl, Germany. In doing so, members will continue to experience a form of trust and brotherhood that takes their travels to a place where only the dedicated can pass.
