Tom faces his biggest challenge yet after his new student Nick sweeps into town and emediately drags Bryan into a "fight club" scheme that leads them both in more trouble than they can handle. As if that wasn't enough, while Tom is out shopping for a birthday present for his daughter, he meets an interesting new woman who has a startling connection with one of his students.

Trip will be killed by his convicted father's former associates unless he can collect money from a criminal located in a dangerous part of town. Meanwhile, Tom is battling his way to his daughter's heart through the court system. Allie is hesitant to try out for the high school dance team, but Bryan's encouragemnt helps build her confidence.
