Stage 2: Spellbattle

Here will soon be recorded the second stage Trials, Spellbattles. These are to focus on the magii's knowledge of elemental magics and include only the use of enchanted items. The winner(s) of each will be highlighted in red at the bottom of each battle, being the last standing magii of the Spellbattle.

Shortly, the items to be used in the spellbattle will be summarized below, with one set each of the categories Defensive, Melee, and Missile.


MELEE ARTIFACTS

Five elemental rings have been selected for their combative abilities, all of which are melee effects based on line of sight (if you see them, it affects them). Any of these effects can be cancelled out by an opposing defensive enchantment. For example, the Cloak of Earth renders it's wearer immovable and therefore dispels the effects of the air or earth rings.

Ring of Air - This ring gives the wearer usage of the Aeromantic Dislocation spelltype, a thunderclap of energy that will knock an opponent back several yards if not properly blocked.
Ring of Earth - To this ring's user the spelltype Geomantic Dislocation is alloted, a sudden buckling of earth that snaps jagged shards of broken stone at it's target and causes them to lose footing.
Ring of Fire - When worn this band imbues one with Pyromantic Dislocation, a sparking of energy around the target that sets flame to the air and earth.
Ring of Water - Allowing the casting of a spell of the Hydromantic Dislocation spelltype, this sudden sapping of liquids from an opponent leaves them fatigued and feverish.
Ring of Void - Wearing this ring gives usage of Oneiromantic Dislocation removes an opponent's mental attunement to magical energies.
