Never Go Away

Love, before you, was no more than a dream,
An object of fantasy, or so it did seem;
But I never gave up, never lost hope
Although not once did I think I'd ever elope.
Then as sudden as lightning, as quick as a flash,
I found the river of love and jumped in with a splash;
Head over heels, I fell for you fast,
The odds were against us, but we would outlast.
Over the course of time mountains may crumble,
Cities might collapse, kingdoms can tumble;
The two of us have one thing that will stay,
This love that we share will never go away.
