1/25/02 - Finally all the drama is over!! I returned the piece of crap Dodge Durango tonight (1/25/02). I first brought it in June 2001 for the Idle problem. It took them about 7 months to get things resolved & not by choice either. It was only after I had gotten an attorney & then proceeded to go thru their arbitration process. It was the arbitration comittee that ruled in my favor. If it wasn't for them, I would still be stuck with that heep of junk. The one thing that really bothers me is - when I took the car in tonight, all they did was have me sign some papers, & they stuck a big ol sticker on the winshield that said "This Vehicle will be Auctioned" . They're not even gonna try to fix it!!! I just can't believe Daimler Chrysler. Its all a big joke to them. Trust me - I will never buy a Daimler Chrysler product again. Not even if they had offered to replace my Durango with a Mercedes Benz. The customer service there is lacking really bad. I have been searching for a new car for quite sometime now. I have narrowed down my choices to the Lincoln Navigator, Acura MDX w/ Touring Package & Navigation (for the SUV class) if that doesnt work out, then I'm looking at the Acura TL Type S w/ Navigation Or the Lexus ES300 W/ Navigation as well. I'll post more news as I get it. 1/29/02 - Well I went again to a lincoln dealer tonight & really sat down & got some hard figures. To be honest, theres no way in hell I can afford a Lincoln Navigator. Even with my below invoice discount. Its just hella crazy how much this thing costs. But If I had one - that would be so sweet! Cruising around in a Limited Edition all Black Navi! Ohhhhhhh yeah! I'm gonna go on a mini Vacation in 2 days so I didnt want to go thru with the deal tonight. So I told her I'd be back on Monday. I think I'll have by then.....I just hope its still there when I get back from Orlando. (Cross your fingers)! 2/9/02: I got my 2002 Limited Edition Monochromatic Black Lincoln Navigator on February 4, 2002. I have to say I got a pretty sweet price on it, About $1500 under invoice. Anyways this thing is nice, all kinds of features the Durango didnt have. The service level was 10 times better too - but I wonder if thats just because its a Luxary class vehicle??!! Today I went to go drop off the Navi for them to install my 100% free Lo Jack vehicle recovery system. While they had my car - they let me borrow a 2001 Lincoln Towncar, sweet!!!!!! They washed my Navi when they returned it to me - & everyone there called me "Mr. Moy", even the lady that had never met me in person. We had only spoke on the phone! Now thats what I call service! I've had the car for less tahn a week & already the Dealership manager has called me to ask me how things were going, the original sales person has called me & even sent me a "Thank You" card. When I got there this morning, the Service manger was there to greet me & so was the service writer. Just really a good overall customer service dealership. At Dodge - I had to call 3 times the 1st week to get someone to call me back. Anyways I took some pictures of the Navigator today & poseted them up for those of you that are curious! View the Pics

1985 Cadillac Sedan De Ville
This was my 1st car ever - I was pretty much sporting a luxary class car to high school back in 1990, but at the time I didn't really appreciate it. Now that I look back at it - I wished we still had this car. It was a 4.3 V8. Had a bunch of features that I didn't need at the time. The picture here shows a black one - ours was like a Wine color - thats the best way to describe it. I was pretty embarressed when I had to drive it to school. But it was a great car! What a great way to start off - I got my license & was off driving in a Cadi!
1991 Toyota Corolla SR5
After sporting a Luxary car for about 2 years - I kept buggin my parents for a "cool" car. You know - like a Celica or a Supra. Took a lot of bargaining - but I finally got a lil import car. Toyotas were still popular back when I got it. Acura & Hondas weren't out with their compact sports cars yet. So I got a Corolla SR5. 5 speed manaul transmission. So I had to learn how to drive stick - haha!
Within the 2nd month - I had already stuck in a Kenwood Pullout, & a Supertrapp exhaust. A whole lot of other things came after that - 2.5 inch exhaust piping, custom power windows, momo shift knob, momo steering wheel (Corse), then came the engine: custom headers, custom cams - then there was the SSR Super Fins (15 x 7). Was 1 of the 1st guy to slap on 205's on a front wheel drive car while a lot of the Street image guys were making fun of my 205's. Then came the sidemarkers, I was the 1st to to try on the PIAAs - while everyone else was still using Hella's. I didnt have those round ones that everyone else had....I got the OG square ones. Years went by - clear signals in the front, new exhaust. You name it I did it. Of course a lot of it had to be custom made - cuz Toyotas weren't in anymore & no one makes parts for the SR5 model. A lot of "Fix it" tickets - came & went. At its prime it was the runner-up for Bracket 4 "Battle of the Imports" (I think it was the 2nd one held) Then it was the 1st AMS car to enter a car show (Ziggy Carshow in Cypress). Then twice in the "Import Showoff". Later on I upgraded to some Work RS Betas - 16 x 7.5. Alarms - I went thru a grip of them. Viper, Hofco. Finally met a guy (Terence) they hooked me up with some quality security products & also some awesome sounds (Hifonics). I finally was tired of the import scene & let things go & the Corolla was in bad shape.....
1991 GMC Syclone
Got really tired of the import car scene - so I bought this GMC Syclone off a friend in March of 1999. This thing was a beast!!! 280hp stock - AWD Turbo! They just dont make trucks like this anymore. It was a fun truck to have & drive. I can smoke most import cars - The only trouble I got was racing on the freeway, this thing wasn't geared for it! I didnt do any modifications on it. I did get vanity plates for it that read "PSICLNE" which translated to "Syclone". Not too many people got it. Only those
who knew what this truck was, understood. PSI = the measurement of the compressed air that the Turbo creates. CLNE = was the abreviation for Clone. You put them together & voila - PSICLNE = Syclone! haha clear as mud? I didnt think so! I've smoked some Honda/Acuras, some Mustangs (Cobras Included). Even some motorcycles - This thing would lauch off the line like a Mother F*cker! Just hold the brake & step on the gas to get it boosting - & let go of the brake & off you go! I miss it a lot - it was a fun truck. I only got rid of it cuz It wouldnt pass smog. If it passed, I would've kept it. Maybe in the future I'll find another one.
2001 Dodge Durango SLT
Since I couldn't get the Syclone to pass smog, I did the next best thing. I traded it in. It was the only thing I could do, since I didnt have another car to drive. So On March 28th I went out & got this 2001 Dodge Durango SLT. I think it was a ok deal - I didnt bargain with them enough. Anyways - this is the worst car I've had. It started acting up 2 months after I got it. When I would come to a complete stop (stop sign or red light) the idle would drop below 500 RPM's & thus cause the vehicle to shake & vibrate a lot! I took the vehicle back 14 times total in the 9 months I've had it. The service was terrible there. It took them 6 months to finally get me my money back. Its ok though - I got every penny back. I have nothing good to say about
Dodge! Not 1 thing! I would never buy a Daimler Chrysler product again! Even if they had offered to replace my Durango with an Mercedes Benz! I vow never to buy any of their products as long as I live. The customer service is terrible! For those of you who are looking to buy a Daimler Chrysler product (Jeep, Dodge, Mercedes just to name a few) you better do your homework on them - or else you're gonna end up like me with a freakin lemon!!! Even some of the workers that Ive talk to at the Dealership said they would never buy a Daimler Chrysler vehicle, because they are cheap. They look nice - but the workmanship is bad!!!!!!!!!!! Dont Buy DODGE, Jeep & Mercedes!!!!!!!!!! You'll end up with a Lemon & bad Service!!!!!!
