Over the past three years I have owned two Alfetta sedans.
Here is a little on each of them.

This 1977 model was the first Alfetta I owned. The engine and gearbox only had

8,000 Km and it drove like new. Unfortunately this was no good to me because the entire drive train was to be replaced anyway given the modifications I had in mind. The body was the problem. Whilst there are no dents on the car the panel work is not quite aligned properly and would prove to be far too much work for a restoration.

I fitted 15 inch wheels and lowered it a little to remove the horribly ugly factory gap between the tyre and the flared guard, this has also improved handling.

As you can see it looks pretty good with the fresh coat of paint and a polish. I sold the car in February 2000 to help finance the massive project I had in mind.

This was the original state of my 1979 model Alfetta. This is the one I intended to

conduct all the modifications on. It doesn't look too great right now (frankly it's plain ugly) but it is perfect for restoration.

It is stock standard, not one thing has been touched. I bought it off an elderly guy who was putting around in it for the last 10 years. The body has not been in an accident and amazingly it is rust free.
Everything shuts and opens the way it was originally intended.

Considering I have just bought a 105 GTV Coupe I was forced to sell this Alfetta. Go to "My project" for more information.

The car was recently (2/8/00) bought by a fellow Alfetta enthusiast who travelled more than 2000Km to buy the car. That's how good the body is.

He decided to drive home the scenic (long) way which adds another 1000Km to the trip. A little bit crazy considering the car had been started once in the past 12 months!

It was a little sad to see my last Alfetta leave my driveway never to return.
