The world is turning faster now
Time has never been so cruel
It cuts my skin
It thickens my sin
I am such a fool
Painstaking through the fall
Mistaking my life for a call
Never having it all
How could I believe
Why did I not see
The shadows down the hall
Fate is but a moment
