Lucidity
(Nocturnal Meditations)

what you can't see

Nocturnal meditation --
I raise my spirit to be
competitive with my consciousness
and I feel my place in the magestically
grand scheme of a higher awareness.
I give rise to new levels of being
and let resilience of entity lead
past the barricades put before me,
the well-worn road filled with cavities
manifesting discouragingly across
the path before me.
I let strength of inner caliber prevail
to develop me like a picture
from the darkness of the film.
I give rise to new levels of triumph
despite the ceaseless obstacle course
of feedback. The pity I feel lies in
the fact that I cannot bring my
tranquil dreamscape into the other world,
to quiet the demented chaos
of the trying occurrences of daily life.

What It Means...
Dreams... pure and simple.  I am an onieronaut, which means, I love to work with my dreams.  And I don't mean by any kind of "dream dictionary" definitions (what others love may scare the hell out of me).  I work with my dreams, with my own personal dictionary, which has all the meanings behind every experience I've ever had.  Not only do I define what a dream means to me, I work on the aspect of control, of taking a lucid dream (which is the state of being aware that you are in a dream and not awake) and then taking control from there.  This is sometimes easier said than done, as lucidity appears to come to me far easier than control does. Anyways, this is about dreams, and how it can be a personal form of meditation, if you choose to work with them. And as a last wish, it kinda twists the scape around, and wishes that one could take the ability to change your dreams with you into waking, to change the chaos we face every day into a calm dreamscape-type of place (which you can have if you achieve control).
