However this time of Peace was not to last.
The evil Queen Beryl with her army known as the Negaverse, came to the moon with the intent to destroy it and take over and rule.
The guardians of the Moon despretely tried to defend the Moon, however, they were unsuccessful. The Sailor Scouts were killed. And when Queen Beryl saw Prince Endymion protecting Princess Serenity she became filled with jealously and attempted to blast Princess Serenity with a ball of energy and Prince Endymion was killed protecting her. Princess Serenity couldn't live without Prince Endymion and reached out for his hand. Queen Beryl also blasted the Princess with energy and the Princess was also killed.
The only person left alive was Queen Serenity and her two companions Luna and Artemis. The Queen was overwhelmed that everybody she loved had been killed. So she used the Imperium Silver Crystal (ginzuishou) to destroy the forces of the Negaverse and Queen Beryl. With the last of her energy drained from the use of the ginzuishou, the Queen sent her loved one to live a new life in the future on Earth. However, their memories of their past were erased. She also sent her companions Luna and Artemis to Earth so that they could find the Princess Serenity and the other Princesses. This way they could keep them save from evil.
