| Friends like these |
| When we look at Ant and Dec and how strong their friendship is we think to ourselves "I wish I had friends like these" And now there's a game show dedicated to people who have......."Friends like these!" For those of you who have been deprived of it, I'm gonna tell you all about it. Well obviously it's hosted by Anthany McPartlin and Declan Donnelly- No great suprise there! The object of the game is to gain points by challenges to win a chance to play for a dream holiday. They take two teams of 5 close friends (1 lads, 1 laddettes) and give them challenges to battle for a holiday of a life-time! They give little clues about the challenge, describe what skills are needed say the famous sentance "Teams...put your faith in a friend" and the teams pick who is best suited to do that challenge. The challenges can be anything from threading tiny needles to remember 5 different wines. Once that friend has been chosen, they can not be chosen again. This leaves one person left - after 4 games- to go head to head in `The Decider' ! This is the end game where any number of points can be won to give the loser's - or the team in 2nd place- a chance to catch up. Now whom ever wins that, still hasn't won! The then have to go and see how good friends they acctually are! The friends nominate their mates to answer qestions about them. If they get the answer right then they're chair stays white and they are going on that dream holiday. If they get the answer wrong then thair chair turns red, and they stay at home. So basically all you have to remember is..."If the light stays white, ya right!" Unless...... The people who have won the oppernunity to go on holiday can fly out the next day OR they can gamble their tickets for an all or nothing question. If they get it right they all go on holiday, if they get it wrong then they all stay home! Simple but harsh! |
