June 2, 2003
Everyone,

Well, it's getting close to that time of year again. Summer is almost here, and school will only be in session for one more week. That means it's time for me to hit the road again.

Many of you slugged your way through my travel emails last summer and may completely dread the prospect of your inbox filling with more information, so here's your chance to exit the list. Please send me an email if you completely, utterly fear the idea of hearing me ramble on again. I will gladly pull the plug.

This summer is not nearly as exotic as our trip to Turkey and Greece. Now I am departing for the hot, muggy environs of summery Virginia! See, I've been accepted to a seminar based in Charlottesville and the Northern Neck. We will be studying Virginia during the American Revolution and traveling all over the state to see fabulous historical sights and learn, learn, learn!

Now, I understand that many of you live in the Old Dominion and have probably been to most of the places I will be visiting. In fact, I've been to most of the places, but I just can't stop sending off these emails. In fact, as part of the seminar, we are required to maintain a journal documenting our thoughts and experiences, and I plan to keep it electronically if they don't mind.

So if I don't hear from you, look forward to the messages beginning around the 18th of June. And if you live in NoVa, I hope to see you that week (another email to come shortly).

Paul
