| What is PSALM in Government? PSALM is an answer to the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ as stated in the Bible. Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." PSALM will be a gathering of Christians that shall bring light into places of darkness who shall become salt and light in their respective family, workplace and in every aspect of their lives bringing the light of Christ into the world. Ephesians 5:8-9 "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth." How Can PSALM help in nation building? PSALM believes that we need not wait for our civil and political leaders to initiate change in our nation. We have to exercise ownership of our nation and initiate the actions ourselves. Christian leaders must set an example and be ready to equip people to act, live and work as God would want us to. We are to bring morality, integrity and righteousness back in our workplace giving all the glory to God our Father through Christ in our lives. What is the Vision of PSALM? PSALM envisions that this movement will be the beginnning of a nation wide movement that will sweep all agency and department of the government. Wherein Christians will stand up and accept thier role as leaders, teachers, model and mentors of a true Christian living even in their workplace. How will PSALM achieve this goal? PSALM will achieve this goal by raising up Christian leaders and equipping them of all the necessary skills apart from that which God has already blessed them and the spiritual gifts that God has given them and by providing a covering of prayers and support to our brothers and sisters. But most of all by sharing the Life changing word of God through His son Jesus Christ. Who can join PSALM? Anyone can join PSALM as long as you are a child of God, believer of Christ and has the heart for the lost. How can you join PSALM? There are no intricate membership schemes that one has to go through. Being a Christian and having yourself under the Kingdom of God (Authority of God) has already ensure yourself membership in the Family of God for which PSALM is a member of. Do I have to do anything special once I am with PSALM? Nothing, just be yourself in Christ. Your life in Christ is enough to do the works that God intended for us to do in PSALM. Just allowing ourselves to be available and committing ourselves to the works that He intends for us is more than enough. Christ said, "My yoke is easy and my burden is light." |
