Every Interact club is sponsored by a Rotary Club, which provides guidance. However, projects are designed by the students and each Interact club is responsible for planning, financing, organizing and carrying out their own program of activities. Interact clubs carry out at least two service projects a year - one that serves the school or the community and another that furthers international understanding.

The JPII Interact Club has a wide array of activities planned for Fall Semester 2008, including the following: five Adopt-A-Highway Clean-Up projects along Gallatin Road in downtown Hendersonville, a Bake Sale to benefit a worthy cause (Angel Tree in the past), and a Christmas Card Making Session for the Pope John Paul II Faculty.

In order to be an active member, students must participate in at least five lunch meetings and participate in at least five Interact-sponsored projects during the course of the academic year.
