State Of Emergency
This highly anticipated game turned out to be some what of a dissapointment. Shortly after GTA3 was released, Rockstar created State of Emergency. It is basically the same as Grand Theft Auto 3 but shorter and a little different. You basically go about shooting people and trying to kill as many people as possible before your time runs out or you are killed by the authorities. You try to get as many points as possible by blowing up cars, completing missions, and killing whatever else gets in your way.
Gameplay-wise, this game deserves a C+ due to the limited amount of levels and the few hours it will take you to beat it. Other than those few major problems, the gameplay is awesome. The graphics can be quoted as even better than GTA3, and the billions of people running around just waiting for you to shoot them is spectacular. Although the levels are no where near as big as Liberty City in GTA3, they are still fair sized.
You can choose from a few charachters and can unlock a few more as the game progresse. Once you have selected your charachter and mode of play you start off in a chaotic scene with people running around mad. Then there are the police type people whose duty is to bring you down. You go about collecting a wide aray of weapons to destroy vehicles and people. Every time you destroy something you get extra time and points. The more points you get the harder the game gets.
I suggest you rent this game before buting it. If you still like it after that then go ahead and buy it.
