Rockstar Games Announces Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, which will be the next installment of Grand Theft Auto Franchise. Hits streets in October
New York--May 21, 2002--Rockstar Games,the world-renowned publishing division of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), proudly announces Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the follow-up to the global blockbuster title Grand Theft Auto 3.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is the latest installment in the gaming franchise that has exceeded 11 million units in total sales to-date. It will be available exclusively for PlayStation(R)2 and is expected to hit retail shelves in the United States on October 22nd.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will Surpass the unprecedented gameplay, cinematic graphics and immersive audio experiance that gamers associate with Grand Theft Auto 3, which was released in October 2001 and has rapidly become the fastest selling, highest grossing game for Playstation(R)2 computer entertainment system to-date, with global sales exceeding 6 million units. Rockstar Games will release additional information about the games content in July, but the following details are clear: It's an entirely new game set in the '80s, the location is Vice City, and the vibe is glamour, power, and corruption...

Universal Interactive expands roster of games derived from J.R.R. Tolkiens's literary epic The Lord of the Rings
New titles announced for the Playstation(R)2 computer entertainment system and the PC.

LOS ANGELES, CaLIF., may 22, 2002 (E3 Booth #1200, South Hall) - Universal Interactive, a studio of Vivendi Universal Games, has announced that it will publish additional J.R.R. Tolkien-inspired video games.

"The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," in development by Seattle-based Surreal Software, is scheduled for release in fourth quarter 2002 for the Playstation(R)2 computer entertainment system and the PC. An action/adventure, the game features three members of the Fellowship as playable characters.

In a storyline faithful to the first part of J.R.R. Tolkiens's epic novel, players relive the experiences of Frodo, Aragorn and Gandolf as they journey from the peaceful lands of the Shire through the darkness of Moria to the River Anduin. On thier quest to protect the One Ring from the Dark Lord Sauron, players will explore the massive environments of Middle-earth while solving puzzles and fighting enemies such as Orcs, Black Riders and an evil Balrog.

"As source  material for the creation of compelling interactive entertainment, J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Lord of the Rings' isincomparable," said Jim Wilson, president of Universal Interactive. "Universal Interactive's goal is to create the most authentic 'Lord of the Rings' game experiance possible by drawing from Tolkien's intricate plot, expansive environments, and host of unique charachters. As part of Vivendi Universal Games' long-term agreement with Tolkien Enterprises, the company acquired the exclusive rights to develop interactive entertainment based on selected Tolkien literary works. Universal Interactive and Sierra Entertainment are responsible for developing products for the license.

Unerversal Interactive is also schelduled to publish "The Lord of the Rings: The fellowship of the Ring" for the Xbox (TM) video game system from Microsoft and the Ninetendo Game Boy(R) Advance. EA Ships Highly Anticipated Medal of Honor Frontline for the Playstation 2
