For lack of a better word, Devil May Cry is awesome. One of the best games I have played for the PS2, next to GTA3. This game offers the latest in quality graphics. As you can see by the screenshots, these graphics are excellent.This game is brought to you from the people who made Resident Evil: Code Veronica, and if you have played it you can tell by the gameplay that Devil May Cry is similiar to the Resident Evil series in the way that there requires puzzle solving. But fortunately you only need a beginner's puzzle-solving skills. The rest is a action-packed fighting game.
The story takes place in a castle and as far as I know your objective is to get out of the castle alive. You will encounter a number of enemies as you make your way through this excellently crafted game.You will also from time to time come across a boss-like creature and as you can see from the screenshots below, the bosses are awesome.
The story line is awesome. It is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat with action packed cut scenes and incredible sound effects. This is a must-rent game if you don't want to buy it. This is a game every gamer will enjoy. If you are afraid it might be too scary. Don't worry it's not. Definately not as scary as Resident Evil. If you still have doubts, play in the day-time or with a friend. You can not pass up an excellent game like this just because you think it might be too scary. |
