| Between the sky and the eye Lays haze akin to fog, And like thought precluding thought Adrift on wind and aimless minds, Do the stars obscure their secret truths From roving eyes and Vast philosophies. Ages of spunk ambiguously aligned To pull and still recede From thought and mind, Stars who shroud both sky and history And dare us to decipher. It is a brave and ageless challenge And we shall ever fruitless be The dupes of both the stars' endless call and their endless mystery. |
