What's cool and what's not? I guess that's one o' 'em questions that you'd rather not answer.
Face it man... even though you go with the flow of fashion and coolness, there will always be a unique lil' something that will separate you from all others. Unfortunately, some people (shall I say, A LOT OF 'EM) base their style on how others judge 'em. Yeah yeah yeah, so we have to be conscious on what you wear every now and then. But, your distinctive taste is what separates you from others.
To make things shorter, all i'm trying to say is, "You are cogno to yourself and some and you are Jologz to the others and vice versa." (ok... so that made things more unclear) Let's take an example, shall we? You're happy 'coz you just bought a super cool flare pants from "People Are People" and you've got a pair of wicked rubber shoes to go with it (you know the ones with spiked soles?). You know that you've got that sequenced shirt that you've been dying to wear unfortunately it doesn't look good on any other pair of pants... except the one that you just bought. You're excited to to school the next day, you know you're wearing ULTRA COOL CLOTHES! But then, when you go walking in the corridor, adjusting you sunglasses every now and then, you noticed people looking at you. They're looking at you with disdained faces that you could almost read out what they're thinking... "What the hell are you wearing?" or "AS IF?!" You suddenly feel degraded and conscious of what you're wearing and who you are as a person. You suddenly feel like society ran to the other side of the room and left you with all those other freaky people you consider "Jologz".
Well, you have to admit that it is very hard to express your style and have society approve and accept it without criticism. If you think that the external factors and opinions doesn't matter and that you're happy with who your are and what you have and carry, then you go girl! err... boy too! Just say, "What the heck?! This is me... this is my style. Not theirs. It's not like I'm goin' to kill somebody with what I wear. I'm happy and that's that. Fuck 'em all who thinks otherwise!"
Then again, if you think it's time for a change, then by all means, go ahead and explore the endless world of fashion and coolness. It's for you to explore, experiment and express. Change is not bad. Most of the time, change is puts you on the right side of life... why no fashion?
Being Cogno or Jologz is on everyones discretion. To yourself or the guy sitting on a bench, you might be the coolest dude on earth or to the group of snobby, picky, bitchy girls at the corner, you might be the ultimatw fashion victim.... ever. Same goes with you. The way you think on what's cool and what's not... regarding fashion and everything that goes with it.
