MOTORCYCLING

So many bikes ...where to start?

It all started on my 13th birthday when my parents bought me my first bike. It was a 1977 Suzuki TS 125 enduro bike and it was put to good use every day in the back yard. Soon everything to make it street legal came off and we were soon turning the back yard into a motocross track. Notice the number 11 on the painted wooden front number plate. Why 11? Because it was the easiest number to make with white electrical tape without having to do any fancy bends.

Soon the jumps got bigger and bigger. My TS 125 was replaced with a Yamaha YZ 125 which screamed power in comparison. My friends also were getting bikes and the racing started to take on a more serious role. Shortly after that the number 11 officially became # 93 as I got my CMA race licence. It was around this time as well that I purchased a little red  Kawasaki KZ 400. This street legal bike got me to school and my off-road skills kept me sharp on-road and alive.
