WHERE
IS HARRY POTTER? ROWLING'S FANS WONDER WHERE BOOK NO.5 is!
When a writer just can't think of what to write and freezes up at sight of the blank page before her, there's a fancy name for the problem: "writer's block". Could writer's block be the reason J.K has yet not produced Book no.5????
If so ,she isn't getting much sympathy from the young fans of Harry Potter. Not even from those who admit they have had it themselves. She's had two years! says Emma Smith,12,of Ellicott City, MD. "I mean, when I have to do my homework, I procrastinate, but still I get it done in time."
Emma and her friend, Tamika Jacobs were in a book store looking at Judy Blame books. "I'll be really happy when she finally writes it," said Tamika, 13,"but it won't feel the same.Maybe it's just cause I'm Older. When I read the first book, I felt the world really was magical. Like millions of Kids and adults around the world, Emma and Tamika each year sped through the Harry Potter book Rowling Cranked Out, ending with Harry Potter and the goblet of Fire. Judy Corman of Scholastic says "fans will be lucky to see it by the end of 2002." She also says "JK is happily writing. I dont know when she'll type the end.She likes to do it right." Book five might be late because "different things are happening" in Rowling's Life.
