Dominican Republic Liason
The  position the Dominican Republic Liaison lasts one year. Each new  president of PRTESOL decides if s/he will keep the position available.
Requirements:
Must be an active member of PRTESOL
Must have an e-mail address
Must be willing to work on a voluntary basis
Duties of the Liaison:
Disseminate information about our Organization throughout the  Dominican Republic.
Recruit contact people in each district of the Dominican Republic
Hold  monthly on-line meetings with the leaders to discuss strategies for  recruitment.
Recruit new members in the Dominican Republic
Inform members when their membership is due.
Inform the contact person of any new changes in PRTESOL.
Inform the contact person of all PRTESOL Board meetings and  agreements reached.
Meet  with the Contact Person at the Bicentennial Conference held at the  Dominico-Americano Institutes before the PRTESOL Convention.
Organize the Outreach Conference for DR PRTESOL members
Organize a group of PRTESOL members in Puerto Rico to attend the  Bicentennial Conference.
Update the Dominican Republic Group membership
Update the Dominican Republic Group Web page
Create a network of leaders throughout the Dominican Republic.
Inform the Liaison of any questions that arise.
Help  organize the Annual Outreach Conference to be held in Santo Domingo
The  Contact Person and the Liaison should keep in touch at all times.
