About PRTESOL Dominican Republic Group | |||||||||||
| The position of Puerto Rico Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (PRTESOL) Dominican Group (DR Group) Liaison began under the presidency of Prof. Estella M�rquez in 2003. Although in 2001, during Marta Y. Pabell�n Imbert's presidency there was great interest in this group. Prof. Pabell�n was allowed to continue recruiting Dominican English teachers in 2002 under the presidency of Dr. Naomi Vega. | ||||||||||||
| Every year since 2001, PRTESOL has attended the Dominico-Americano's Conference and has been allowed to recruit English teachers as members of PRTESOL. Today, there are 415 active members who teach and reside in the Dominican Republic. All members are invited to attend PRTESOL's Convention and many have been able to attend. | ||||||||||||
