Description of Persona: R'nar recently hit a growth spurt. Having spent most his life rather short, he's a bit surprised to suddenly find himself just short of six feet. He has sandy blonde hair and bright blue eyes and has been considered by a large majority of the female population under twenty at the weyrhold to be quite good looking. Since he spends most of his day working in the sun around the stables, he's quite tan and fairly muscular. R'nar is what one could call the ideal philosopher. He loves to sit around and ponder questions such as "why are we here" and "what would happen to dragonriders if there was no thread?", and yet, he's not completely boring because he still knows how to have fun. R'nar is much more mature than most boys his age. Perhaps it comes from having a dragon, or perhaps he's naturally that way. He's responsible and generally cheerfully optimistic. He's a wonderful artist and horseback rider. He loves swimming and adores animals(as evident by his five pets). R'nar has been deeply in love with his best friend Mara for quite some time now and has patiently been waiting for her to return his love. His patience appears to finally be paying off.

Brief History of Persona: He grew up in a northern hold and has two sisters, both older, which teased him constantly. His mother is a Journeywoman Dolphineer and his father is a Master Herder. He was searched and came to Ridge Crest Weyr when he was 16, where he ran into his old friend Mara. In early month 6 of turn 24, he Impressed his green firelizard Silva. A few days later, on m6d7t24, Zennith and Ganth's clutch hatched and, much to his delight and amazement, he impressed bronze Shevraeth his first time standing. He was slightly disappointed his best friend Mara didn't Impress, but he was happy as a weyrling. On m8d5t24, he turned 17. Later that month, he was saddened to learn Mara had been Searched and was moving to Silver Ridge. His saddness was replaced by joy when she Impressed her gold dragon, but he still missed her. When he and Shevraeth learned to /between/ and later graduated, they visited Mara quite often. In month 2 of turn 25, R'nar was thrilled when he was asked to transfer to Silver Ridge. Although he did not have the normally required three-turn minimium of being a dragonrider, they were desperate for bronzeriders and willing to let the rule slide based on good reports of R'nar's performance and attitute. R'nar had been at Silver Ridge scarcely a sevenday when Mara's gold dragon rose for the first time on m2d27. Much to R'nar's delight, his bronze Shevraeth caught the love of his life's dragon. Mara, however, was less than pleased. Mara, it seemed, had a bit of a fear of love. Over the next few months, R'nar tried to convince her he really did love her. His efforts paid off. The day after their dragon's clutch hatched(m5d1t25), Mara agreed to be R'nar's weyrmate.
