Description of Persona: Leila is tall and tanned. Her hair is brown, neither dark nor light, and despite her efforts she never manages to get one curl in it. Her eyes are the color of her hair, and she has long delicate fingers that easily do all tiny work involved with healing. Leila doesn't have a great sense of humor, but she does own great diplomatic skills and a memory for stories. She feels that everybody must help the society as well as they can, and she fulfills this by sitting on the bedsides of patients, telling stories and reciting poems.

Brief History of Persona: Leila comes from the North from a smallish hold of about five families. An unfortunate decease swept through the hold leaving very few alive when she was about twelve turns old. She lost her mother and brother to this, and she sometimes blames herself for not having had the skills to save their lives. Since the hold was devastated, Leila's father packed up everyone who was still alive and moved south to Silver Ridge Weyrhold. Leila apprenticed as a healer at age 13. All the while however, she watched the dragon-matched pairs enviously, wanting to be one of them. When she was sixteen, her wish was granted, as she Impressed green Ariesth.
