Description of Persona: G'rien stands at 6'3, with slightly muscular build. His unruly light blond hair is cut short and curls about his head in dissary. His eyes are a dark peircing blue with green flecks near the center. Some people have called him gorgeous, yet he still finds ways to blend into the background and stay unnoticed.

However, that's not to say he likes staying in the background, just that sometimes it's safer for him to. He's had many near misses with furious dads, husbands, and weyrmates, but G'rien can't help who he is... or so he says. He's had a lot of 'luck' with women, but he's never had any _luck_. He can't seem to keep a girlfriend for any length of time, and through no fault of his own.

Brief History of Persona: G'rien was born Garien at Ista Weyr to rider parents. He has numerous siblings and half-siblings, and usually fears getting letters from home telling him of another addition to the family. Despite being fostered he remained and still is close to his parents.

After a suitibly boring and normal childhood, G'rien decided to take up woodsmithing. As it turns out, he was fairly good at it. Not a genious, but he was good at it.

When he was 17, after a little misunderstanding that included being caught in bed with the daughter of the WeyrWoman Second, the decision was made by his parents and masters to transfer him off to Silver Ridge WeyrHold. The idea was for him to keep out of trouble while waiting for the furor to die down. Unfortunatly, it soon came out that the girl was pregnant, pretty much destroying his chances of coming home. Not that he wanted to very much anyways.

The child was a boy they decided to name Llyrien.

On his 18th birthingday, he was searched for Silver Ridge WeyrHold. He's stood for every hatching since then, and had pretty much given all hope when he stood for what he had decided was going to be his last hatching. Brown Sierrath agreed that this was G'rien'a last hatching, but he wasn't going to be leaving the hatching grounds alone.

Now, G'rien is adjusting to weyrlinghood, and is going to have to adjust very quickly to fatherhood, as Llynia has just informed him, Llyrien is coming for an extended visit... a VERY extended visit.
