Description of Persona: Alvaria has black, shoulder-length, curly hair and mirror-like sable eyes. Her skin is a rich tone of light brown, but quickly turning darker the more time she spends under the Southern sun. Alvaria's voice is a rather callous contralto, never filled with much emotion; however, it tends to change when her mood does (this isn't very often because she doesn't let things get to her, good or bad). She tends to wear darker colored clothing; bright things like yellow and orange are just too 'cheery' for her.
Alvaria isn't a very publically emotional person (i.e. she doesn't make scenes in front of people; she doesn't like it when people constantly asks her what's wrong, so she prefers not to let others see if something bugs her) and as far as she's concerned, if you don't _expect_ anything good to happen and are prepared for the worst, you can't be disappointed. Despite her slightly pessimistic views on life, she's actually rather friendly to others, and doesn't let the opportunity for a good conversation slip away. It takes a lot to anger Alvaria, but it is easier to just agitate her. The greenrider can't stand overly happy or consistently angry and bitter people, and cocky people with no respect for authority get to her the most.

Brief History of Persona: Alvaria was born in the South where she lived the first years of life traveling with her parents. They moved frequently from Holds and even through Weyrs until Alvaria was placed with her mother's sister where she lived up until the age of twelve when she tuned to the Craft of dragonhealing. On a trip to visit her aunt some time after her sixteenth birthingday, she was surprisingly Searched and stayed on at Silver Ridge Weyrhold. She stood for one Hatching and failed, but Impressed green Ortiath her second time around.
