Description of Persona: Jerian has a thick mane of black hair kept in shoulder length. He is slim and about 180 centimetres tall. His eyes are dark blue and you can always tell what mood he is in from them. They're very expressive. He likes keeping fit by running along the beach, and he likes leaving his shoulder knot at home and playing a good game of netball. Quite a few people (including his beloved weyrmate) find him sexy and/or cute.

He has a warm tenor voice, which must musically be said to be his biggest asset. His favorite instrument is the guitar, and he enjoys composing songs, too. When someone asks him to sing, Jerian will do it right away. It is his job, and he loves it. In public, he is a very out going and humorous guy.

He is, however, not the least superficial. If you need someone to talk to, Jerian is the kind of guy who will listen and do his very best to help and comfort you. His biggest wish is to make people happy and always do the right thing. Maybe that is one of the reasons why he often ends up in completely absurd or even dangerous (two scars from knife wounds witness this) situations. Doing the right thing has become somewhat of an obsession to him (loving nicknamed "the Jerian complex" by yours truly), so that he tends to blame himself if something goes wrong around him.

Brief History of Persona: Jerian was born in a southern weyr as son of a dragonrider (mother) and a drudge (father). Jerian's mother wanted him so much to be a dragonrider, but every time he got near a dragon, his heart started pounding and he almost panicked with fear. He never found out why then, but he knew that he would never become a dragonrider. He was fostered at Lizard Ridge Hold very early in his life and was apprenticed as a harper by a Master Jorran (still a hero to Jerian). He got his journymanship and travelled around for some years before settling down in Ridge Crest Weyr. Here he found himself facing dragons again, and he wanted to get over the fear for them. He took the new posting as a challenge to his courage and wanted to make the best out of things.

"Accidently" he impressed the bronze fire-lizard Darin, and with that a new chapter of Jerian's life began. He discovered that he could hear and talk to dragons! That was the start of many twists and turns in Jerian's life. He walked tables and became a master harper, he found a weyrmate (Cassia), and he recently fathered the baby boy Cajen.
