Description of Persona: Of average height and slender build, Tirrar is not the talkative type. His black hair and black eyes combined with dark skin are shown off by his tendency to wear light or bright colored clothing. Friends have described him as intense, but Tirrar merely laughs and says he sees nothing to chatter about. He's a dedicated friend once he deems someone worthy of his friendship, and an excellent healer.

Brief History of Persona: Tirrar is northern Healer Hall born and raised, the only son of the Hall's Steward and a cook. He apprenticed at thirteen to the Healercraft and was Searched at sixteen for the nearby Weyr. After standing for several turns with no success, at 21 he moved back to the Healer Hall to better continue his studies. He was promoted to Journeyman at 23, and his talent for surgery was noted by the Hall's Master Surgeon, who lured him away from his chosen specialty of nursing to study surgery instead.

His brown flit, Cream, was a gift from his father shortly before the man's death six turns ago. Lately he's found the Hall not as challenging to his skills, so when the call came in from Dark Ridge needing healers, he volunteered to accompany Master Healer Jordayne to the south. After all, where better than a Weyr to put surgery to use, as his Master Surgeon teacher pointed out.
