Description of Persona: Tall and gangly, Rihadren only recently outgrew the girls his age in the past six months, and his body has yet to fill out to fit the height it has achieved. His hair is a light blond that lightens to almost white if he spends much time in the sun, his eyes are blue, and his skin manages to achieve a slight tan at times. He has a tendency to be moody, which earns him much teasing from his fellow apprentices, but overall, he's a friendly young man with a talent for the craft he's chosen.
Brief History of Persona: Rihadren is the child of a Dark Ridge brownrider and a laundry drudge. He has multiple half-siblings through his father and just one half-sister through his mother. Growing up as the typical weyrbrat, Rihadren thought of nothing but dragons and being Searched until his father was injured in Threadfall. As the eleven-turn-old watched healers work frantically to save the brownrider's life, Rihadren found his calling. Rhihadren spent as much time as possible in the Infirmary while his father recovered, and the Weyrhealer finally apprenticed him early, needing another apprentice badly enough to ignore his youth. He still harbors the wish to be Searched, but at 16, his focus is more on the craft he has than a dream that might never be. His green flit Yorrie was given to him three turns ago by a fellow healer when the Weyrhealer encouraged all the apprentices to Impress a flit.
His brown flit, Cream, was a gift from his father shortly before the man's death six turns ago. Lately he's found the Hall not as challenging to his skills, so when the call came in from Dark Ridge needing healers, he volunteered to accompany Master Healer Jordayne to the south. After all, where better than a Weyr to put surgery to use, as his Master Surgeon teacher pointed out.
