Description of Persona: Small and slim, Jennica often appears smaller than she is. Most people mistake her for being much younger, a fact she gave up worrying about turns ago. Practical and sensible, she sees no sense in muddling her mind with things she cannot change, and declares that those who judge her by appearance alone aren't worth her time. Her hair is a rich auburn, usually plaited into a braid and coiled at the base of her neck. Her skin tans well in the southern sun, and her only vanity is her large, dark brown eyes.

Brief History of Persona: Jennica was born at a small farmhold beholden to Lizard Ridge, the third of ten children. When she was thirteen, an outbreak of virulent illness struck the farmhold. Her oldest brother went for help to the main Hold, but by the time healers arrived, her mother and four of her siblings were beyond help. Her father found himself at a loss of what to do with his remaining nine children, and with the healer's help, soon sent all but his oldest two sons off to Lizard Ridge for fostering. Jennica was initially sent with one of her younger brothers to Dark Ridge, where her new foster parents encouraged her to apprentice to the craft of her choice. She finally decided on Healercraft and walked the tables to junior journeywoman at age 18. She occasionally visits her father and two eldest brothers at their remote farmhold, which produces rich crops through their dedicated efforts. When she visited a turn ago to deliver her first niece, born to her oldest brother's wife, it settled in her mind what specialty she would pursue, that of a midwife.
