Description of Persona: Slim and still fairly short, Elric hasn't yet hit the growth spurt to gain his adult height. Large, merry blue eyes dominate his thin face, which is framed by dark brown hair kept in a rider's short cut. He is a diehard prankster, and spends most of his off-duty time at some punishment or another. Originally assigned to help out in the Infirmary as punishment, he soon found himself enraptured with the craft and begged apprenticeship. To the amazement of all who knew him, on duty Elric transforms to a fairly responsible young man who is sometimes a little _too_ serious.

Brief History of Persona: Elric is the fourth child of a former Dark Ridge Headwoman and her weyrmate, a vintner. His mother died in childbirth when Elric was three, and her children's care was passed to foster parents. Unable to cope with the loss of his weyrmate, Elric's father left Dark Ridge to take a post in the north, and has only come back into contact with his son in the past turn when he returned to the south. Raised lovingly by the couple who'd taken in all the siblings, Elric had a very happy childhood, but wants nothing to do with the man who actually fathered him and then cut off all contact. He enjoys his craft, though like all weyrbrats, he entertains dreams of Impression.
