Description of Persona:
The first thing that strikes all who meet Davien is that he is an albino. It's as if all colour has been drained form his body, leaving him with frost white hair and pale translucent skin. Only his eyes have a hint of colour, but that too isn't normal and people find it hard to look at Davien's pink eyes.

He is a tall man, lean rather than bulky with muscle. He has given up trying to cover his lack of colour, and now challenges all who would stare with a sharp glance.

Davien is a quiet man, drawn into himself and not requiring much in the way of companionship. Strange looks from strangers have ceased to bother him, like all others, these people will learn to either accept him or get along with him if circumstances draw them together.

His voice is deep, and although a harper, he doesn't sing a great deal. Davien's main talents lie in his organizational skills, his ear for music and in stringed instruments, his favorite being the guitar, but he can produce any number of perfect tunes from almost any instrument.

Brief History of Persona:
Davien was born to a harper and his wife in a southern hold. His white hair and skin, and his pink eyes might have caused a lot of bullying, but Davien became an enigma with his lack of colour, and instead of making fun of him, most kids were advised to stay away, leaving Davien to grew up on his own. He has siblings, but none of them, except his younger sister, have expressed any interest in knowing him.

His father taught him to play from a young age, and when he was formally apprenticed at the Healer Hall, Davien was ahead of most classes. He rose quickly though the apprentice ranks, his talent for stringed instruments emerging and flourishing.

He walked the tables at 17, and to senior journeyman at 24. His excellent organizational skills earned him work inside offices and gathering information as he rode circuit, he also became a teacher for those interested in learning guitar and other similar instruments.

Davien was awarded his Master's knots only a few turns ago, at 36, and rode circuit as a judge throughout the southern continent. His extensive travels have finally been brought to a close, with his new permanent assignment as the Weyrharper of Dark Ridge.
