Khaliqdina Hall:
Khaliqdina Hall which is named after its doner Ghulam Hoosain Khaliqdina was constructed in 1906. Its doner left Rs. 18,000 in his will, for utilizing it in some Public Project and opened for the committee room of the Native General Library opened in 1851 with the help of Sir Bartle Frere. Thus it was decided to built a public a Public Hall and a library with the donated amount. The funds were not enough for such an ambitious project, therefore the Karachi Municipality came forward to help and provided Rs. 15,000 towards the cost of construction. It was the largest Public Hall in Karachi of that time.
Frere Hall:
Frere Hall is one of the most elegant and beautiful buildings of Karachi. It is situated on Victoria Road and Elphinston Street. The construction of this Hall began in 1863 and was completed in 1865. It was rasied in the memory of Sir Bartle Frere. The upper floor of the two storied yelloowish Karachi lime stone building, consits of a 70 ft. X 24 ft. hall, and an orchestral gallery
Max Denso Hall:
Venetian Gothic in style, this building was constructed to honour Max Denso, a prominent citizen of Karachi and six times President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Designed by James Strachen,it includes an enterance hall, library reading room and some small room on the ground floor. The upper floor is a large hall with an accomodation about 500 persons and was used for different types of social gatherings. Its salient features includes decorative columns and elements reflecting the Venetian Gothic period.
Mazar-e-Qauid:
Mazar-e-Qauid located in the heart of the city, this mausoleum harbours the mortal remains of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Founder of Pakistan. It was completed in 1970 and was designed by Architect Yahya Merchant. Its massive tapered walls are crowded at the top by a semi-circular dome. A 80 ft. long chandelier in four tiers and with 48 lights.
