Are you dissapointed because you arrived right at the tail-end of the poll you were anticipating? Well, you can no longer participate in that poll, but you can still view the results, which I think is the next best thing. (Polls listed in order of date completed) *Poll number 1, ran from October 7, 2001 until February 6, 2002. Question: 'Were the moon landings faked?' 54% voted 'Yes,' and 46% voted 'No.' Wow, that was a close one. It was actually much closer than I thought it would be. With such an untraditional question, I figured that the results would be very one-sided and that everybody would have voted 'No,' but it looks like I was wrong there. I do not know if maybe I have a biased sample of people on the web or what, but almost everybody that I know would have laughed at the idea, unlike the obvious majority of the actual voters. I am glad that so many of you didn't, though. It is interesting that the people who question what many take for granted seem more prevelant on the internet, and more specifically, on my site. I'm not going tell you what I think, though, because it looks like whichever one I side with, it will be conflicting with half of my readers. Besides, none of you care what I think, right? Don't forget to take the current poll, 'Which is your favourite Soviet Premier'! The pure data you, the voter, gives me is what makes this section of my site live! I'm sorry that I couldn't have all the Premiers on the poll, but there was only enough room on the Quizlet for six things to vote for (that's how many I have listed there, by-the-way). This isn't so bad, though. You and I both know that some of the more obscure and/or cruel ones *coughcough*Stalin*cough* would have recieved no votes. Unless, of course, you would have voted for them (Why you would, I don't know, but I guess there is always a chance). | |
