The warm weather is here! YAY! Our park play dates have begun, and soon so will our beach Fridays! Summer is upon us, along with great family vacations. I hope that you enjoy this warm weather as much as me and my boys do. School is ending and I hope that will allow some of you to attend more activities. We have 3 full months of fun ahead! There are some great field trips planned for this month, including Roger Williams Park Zoo, a movie (air conditioning), and also a great field trip to The Big Y supermarket which sounds like a lot of fun for the kids, and great deals for the moms! Make sure you save your grocery shopping for that day, as the deals there are great (buy 1, get 2 free!).
Even Moms Night Out this month is a pedicure party to get your toes ready for sandals! I changed some things in this month�s newsletter and I hope that you enjoy it. Inside you will find a great Father�s Day activity, an article on postpartum depression, and much more.
Please also note that our Primary Coordinator Contacts have changed. Elections are this month and we will have a new board (somewhat!), and we do still have coordinator positions available. If anyone is interested, please let me know. We have also been cleaning out the roster, and we have some new members joining! Please be sure to make them feel welcome when you meet them. We all remember what it was like to be the �new mom�. I know I thought for sure I had nothing in common with any of you, and that I most likely would not make any friends in the club. I was so wrong. I count many of you as friends now. I am so grateful I opened my mind and gave the Moms Club a chance.
This past weekend we had a very successful service project fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House. I am so proud of all of the work you moms put into this project. You guys Rock! You can read about it and see a picture of the check presentation in this issue.
