Tony Yip, Proverse Guest Editor, and Chief Translator of, "Moving House and Other Poems from Hong Kong", reveals his translation secrets.

American Caleb Kavon, author of the stunning novel, "The Monkey in Me: Confusion, Love & Hope under a Chinese Sky", gives his take on our future world.

ANCESTRAL VOICES. Reading by Edwin Thumboo, winner of many writing honours. Edwin Thumboo, Emeritus Professor and Professorial Fellow, National University of Singapore, has been involved in Singapore’s literary developments since 1951: editing, anthologising, initiating literary programmes.

Author and well-known Educationist, Dr Verner Bickley, MBE, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the English Speaking Union (HK) ("Forward to Beijing!"), will be present.

Poet Kate Rogers, whose well-received debut poetry collection, ("Painting the Borrowed House"), was launched by Proverse at the Festival last year, will attend.

A briefing will be given on how to enter for "THE PROVERSE PRIZE", for an unpublished book-length work of Non-fiction, Fiction or Poetry, submitted in English, open for entries for the first time this year.
