John Koslosky bought himself a project, a Pantera in a box !
He went down to the L.A. area, dragged the car onto the trailer, packed up boxes of 'car', and hauled it home.
Once home, he opened up the wall in a hobby room, placed the car, and sealed up the wall again.  He is currently doing an extensive remodel of the home, and needed another project to fill his time !
The car is a Nov '72, in the 47XX range.
It is very close in time and number to mine, so it make an interesting car for us to compare.  It has the same 'early' dash. Although it is a higher number, it doesn't have the fuel filler in the gill like mine.
The engine and ZF are currently at a shop.  The engine needed to be finished, but the ZF is complete.  The GT4 flares were rough.  A friend in the body business is already working to complete the bodywork.  To the left you can see some denting in the engine bay right inner panel, likely for sparkplug clearence.
Below, looking into the left headlight bucket is the quarter panel light patch.
Vented rotors and Group 3 brake calipers.
The Koni shocks appear 'new' as are the springs.  The suspension has been painted as well.  The chrome steering rack mounts were well aged.
Below looking in from the right rear wheel, you can see the frame was also painted to match the suspension.  Much of the wiring appears to exist, and making a quick list of parts, it seems much or most of the important parts were included !
Above, is an interesting 'feature'.  I have the same hole in the floor of my front trunk, right where I will run the wires for the Moseley Relay Panel.  This hole leads into the passenger footbox, next to the battery cable.  Why this holes exists, I have no clue, but it IS stock !
One big expense that has been postponed is a set of tires.  This Pantera-in-a-box came with a set of P7s on 10" front, 13" rear Hall Ultra wheels.  The tires are coated in dust from today's body sanding.  The tires showed no obvious cracking.  Luckily the car was bought for a fair price, considering the risks involved.  With much work and time this project Pantera will once again terrorize the streets ! Good luck John !
