First time attendees, Moez and Shirley left the rain in San Francisco driving down in their new baby, a 1972 GT5 they recently purchased over the Internet from Rhode Island. This very clean car was completely restored by the seller, who downgraded to an F-car. The sellers loss is their gain ! Note the bumpers, which are fiberglass. There is a trunk release that is activated by a switch located where the parking brake lever was. Currently this car needs to have the parking brake re-installed. The front radiator system is giving the new owner some over heating problems in low speed driving problems. It has a lay-down PPC aluminum radiator, but the single fan does not have a shroud.

We attempted to burp the system, as they could hear the occasional air bubble gurgling in the water pump. First we jacked up the front of the car, then cracked open a bleed line, but no air appeared. Next we jacked up the rear of the car as high as possible, ran the engine until the thermostat opened to bleed out any air caught at the back.
Then Larry Larson arrived in his 72 GT4. This is a very clean car, which has not been seen at club events very often. Note in the images on the next page, the rear tires, Goodyear 27.0 X 13.5 X 15. Larry recently found a source for replacement rear tires, as these were showing some sidewall cracks. The available size Goodyear racing tire is 27.0 X 14 Wide (and 15 !) X 15 diameter.
