EDCI 260 Task
Trees
|
The class will be divided up into 7 groups with 4
students in each group.
Each group will be assigned a type of tree that
grows in Indiana.

1 - Black Cherry Tree

7 - Hackberry Tree

Paul, Tamera, and Zachary

Each
group will have 3 topics about their tree. 1 for group members 1,2, and
3.
Each member in the group will choose 1 topic about their tree and
research this topic online, in newspaper, journal, or magazine articles,
and at
the library. Some sources for you to start with about your tree will be
listed on the Process and Resources page. Group member 4 will place the
information given by the other 3 group members
into a media such as Power
Point, Kidspiration etc.
You
may use Kidspiration (which we have previously discussed and used in
class),
the internet, web
pages, libraries, magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for
research in order to complete this assignment. Add graphics and images
of your tree. You MUST cite your
reference sources correctly in your paper and during your presentation.
You will be given 2 weeks to complete your research and assignment
about your trees, and then on week 3 you will present your completed
assignment to the class.
Your grade will depend on if all the information is given that was
asked of you, if all sources that you used were cited correctly, and if
all information given is correct and complete.
