Heart Necklace
Materials:

Pipe cleaner
Glue
White Peice of Construction paper
Red felt marker
Peice of yarn


Instructions:

1. 
Bend pipe cleaner into the shape of a heart.
2.  Glue  it onto white construction paper
3.  Let dry
4.  Cut away the paper to form the heart.
5.  Write the childs name with the red felt marker and punch a whole in the top.
6. Hang with yarn and put around child's neck.
Stained Glass Heart
Materials:

New or old red and white Crayons
Waxed paper
Construction paper
Tape
String


Instructions:

1.  Have the child grate the crayons onto the waxed paper.
2.  Adult press wax paper with hot iron till the crayons are melt. allow to cool
3.  Show child how to cut a heart with construction paper.
4.  Cut out the wax paper into the shape of a heart.  Or use the constructions paper and tape wax behind then cut out heart.
5.  Punch a whole on top and hang.
Valentine Tree
Materials: 

Small Branch
Flower Pot, or old coffe can
Sand, or play-dough, or, pebbles
Red construcition paper
Pipe cleaners


Instructions:

1.  Fill the pot or can with the pebbles, or what you choose.
2.  Stick the stick inside the pot
3.  Cut small hearts out of the red paper and make holes in the top of heart.
4.  Let the child put the pipe cleaner in each heart through the hole.
5.  Hang the hearts from the braches.
Valentine Envelopes
Materials:

Any Size envelope
Wrapping paper
Scissors
Glue stick

Pull the envelope apart very carefully.  Trace the envelope's shape onto the wrapping paper and cut out.  Fold the wrapping paper the same way s the envelope is folded.  Using a glue stick, glue the bottom flap to the two side flaps. Hint:  Fold the desing so it's on the inside for a lined look.
