Feather Paints
Materials:

Sponges
Fall Paint Colors.
Construction Paper

Cut Feather shapes from sponges, making sure you include the small stem.  Have children dip sponges into paints and put onto construction paper

Paper Bag Turkeys
Materials:

Paper bags(any size)
Several Sheets of News Paper
Yarn
Pre Cut Turkey head shape
Paints, markers

Have the children stuff the paper bags with the newspaper until they are half full. Twist the bags then tie tight with the yarn.  The top part of the bag, from the yarn have the children make slits down twords the yarn to make the tail. Have the children paint or color the tail peices.  Then give them the pre cut turkey head shape to decorate.  Attach the head shape to the front of the bags to complete the turkey..

Potato Turkey
Materials:

Uncooked Potato
Feathers
wiggle eyes
Small red felt for gobble
Yellow and Orange diamond shapes
4 tooth picks


Have children take feathers and insert at one end of the potato(make sure you use firm stems). Glue eyes onto other side. Take the yellow and orange diamond shapes from either construction paper or felt fold them to make a beak.  Then place small red felt under beak to make a gobble. Take 4 tooth picks in bottom half to make turkey stand.
Stained Glass Turkey
Materials:

Brown Paint
Paper Plate
3 Peices of Brown Construction Paper
Red Construction Paper
Orange Construction Paper
Various Colors of tissue Paper
Glue

Cut five large feathers out of the brown paper. Then about 1" from the edge of the feathers cut out the middle.  Now cut feather shapes from tissue paper, glue to one side of the brown feathers. Paint the Paper plate brown. Cut a turkey Head from the brown paper. Cut beak and feet from oragne, and Red for gobble(neck).
Hang on a window or glass door.
