| Tractor Beam The tractor beams are used for direct manipulation of objects in proximity of the Starship. Tractor Beams employ superimposed subspace/gravitation force beams whos interference patterns are focused on a remote target, resulting in signigicamt spatial stress being applied on the target. By controlling the focal point and interference patterns, it is possible to control the stress pattern and draw an object towards or away from the ship.
