- Ifrit's name is, of course, from Hindu religon, as well from the standard Fire summons/Guardian Forces/Aeons in the Final Fantasy series.
- Javas's name actually means 'Swift One' in some language I forgot, while Saital's name actually took exactly one week to choose.
- The name Azeon is actually from the word 'Amazon', with just a few letters thrown and switched about.
- The original prologue was actually focused on Lucied in his past encounter with the corrupted Ho Oh. However, due to various plot holes, it was scrapped and written as the Halloween Songfic One Shot The Hunter and The Hunted.
- Shade the Murkrow/Gengar was orginally going with Lucied and Ifrit, however, it was scrapped due to lack of plot... and even more plot holes.
- Javas was based on Nara Shikamaru of Naruto. However, the author unknowingly added a dash of Edward Elric onto him, and thought that letting him speak in another language was fun too. Also, Javas was orginally to speak in German, but was scrapped once again due to the author's love for Hellsing.
- Stucky's name was made up at the spur of the moment, done by a mashed brain at three in the morning. Also, Salem was first written as a Gardevior, but changed into a Lapras after Pokemon Mystery Duengon was released.
- Many of the more impactive scenes of Midian were also written at the spur of the moment, such as Havoc's long sadist sentence with Mewtwo. The only one not in that catergory was the first battle between the two hounds and Ho Oh. That battle was planned, drawn out and replayed many times in the author's head before written.
- The Uniset Tsukuyomi: Kage Fuusha was inspired from the Fumma Shuriken: Kage Fuusha [Windmill Shuriken: Shadow Windmill] and Rock Lee's Konoha Senpuu [Konoha Whirlwind], while the Tuski no Kami was created simply because the author liked the name.
- This fic was written with the addition of Diamond and Pearl legendaries in mind. However, the sudden number startled the author and thus Araseus was killed off in the backstory. Rukario will still hold his status as a legenday, for plot reasons.
- Ho Oh was revived so many times simply because the readers like the corrupted Phoenix. Iris the Beautifly was a cameo for the author's forum based twin of Serebii forums, Tomoyo Daidouji, and Knightblazer owns Felix a cameo too due to losing in a coin toss.
- The addition of Zapmolcuno came bacause the author was too lazy to write a battle to fight all three birds seperately... because the author was addicted to Pokemon Mystery Duengon at that point of time.
- And lastly, some of the things mentioned here are false. =)
