The great beast of Fire in Jotho, Entei appeared Javas and Ifrit when they were ambushed by Raikou and Suicune. During their battle, he imparted to Ifrit the powerful legndary move Ryuga no Tuskimono, and with it managed to defeat the two beasts. However, he received a fatal wound from Suicune. In his final moments, he peformed the Flux upon the Houndoom, granting Ifrit all of the legendary's own memories, powers and moves before passing to the Other World.


Flux: A special technique, used by the legendaries. Upon usage, the legendary transferrers all his/her own memories, powers, abilities...basically everything within them to the chosen being. It is not used often, as most are unable to control the new flow of power, and also that the sucess rate very low, and failure for this technique would equal to death for both parties.
