Principles and Objectives of the Orange Order

The Orange Institution has always stood for sound Constitutional Government and the integrity of the Empire. Loyalty to the Sovereign and all those in authority. The Order upholds the principles and doctrines of the Reformation -pure Scriptural Protestantism- which every member is expected to defend, at the same time granting the fullest liberties to all who disagree with us, to worship God according to the dictates of their own consciences. The Order has pledged to defend the civil and religious liberties which have been handed down to us from our forefathers and which have been dearly bought by blood in many a hard fought battle, an open Bible and liberty to read it, and a good Government of this Protestant Empire by wise, determined rulers, are principles dear to the hearts of every true Orangeman and Orangewoman. |
