Tigela started life in the healer's guild, but soon discovered her ability to speak to people. She moved from physical healing to psychology, and then into what equates to guild politics.
Then she was searched, and bonded Jaanth. Her abilities served her well in any setting. When Jaanth was flown by Keeth, she and Loth had two children (while Helan was off in another decade... How good of her. Nice beast-guilder...) T'ie and V'hn. Both make her proud as a mother, and as a Blackstone they vaguely inherit some value of genetics or land.
She is a demanding, strong willed woman. At 60 now, she is just starting to slow down. Her dragon never quite made it up the ranks before the Weyr turned into a Caer, but now they are not particulary in a position to really mind the sudden retirement.
Jaanth and Tigela loved to fight. Using a flame thrower seemed to come naturally to this woman, she is an expert at angles and distances, and with her little green flitter Wrapperound (because she wraps around her arm...) she often seems to know of things nearby which should not be in sight.
Jaanth herself is a lean, muscular queen, but not a very big one. She has had several clutches on different sands, mostly to brown mates. It is that fact that never quite got them into the senior Weyrwoman spot anywhere. But both are now content. It is unlikely that Jaanth will rise to mate again, but several of her offspring are ridden around different weyrs around the world! She is very proud of that.
