Retired Wing Leader T'ed on Brown Vorth
and
Retired Wing Rider Delaney on Green Gellth
T'ED

Born to riders, and able to describe almost every facet of dragon anatomy before he was twelve, T'ed (then Teled) is strong in mind and body, and nothing short of his brown dragon would have ever suited him. His short temper however made his stint as a wing rider of lower rank much longer than it ought to have been.

As the father of several weyrbrats, all rather burly and hot-headed as he is, T'ed is proud to have family around him. He is a no-nonsense kind of guy, and his dragon Vorth takes no guff from anyone -- dragon or human.

Vorth is a large, muscular dragon with a good solid idea that his rider is in fact the best human in the whole world. He follows instructions to the letter, always knowing just what his rider wants. He has never bothered to speak to anyone but T'ed in his entire 26 year life span. He has several scars from fighting threats, and others from fighting other dragons for his mates.

DELANEY

The daughter of a merchant and a rider of a green, Delaney remained in the weyr when her father moved along on his trade route, and never learned much about the work he did. Instead, she applied herself to learning about riding, fighting formations, and using flamethrowers in time of need.

She is a somewhat quiet, almost bitter person. However she loves her husband T'ed and their children have made her proud.
Thor will certainly show everyone that their family will continue to be solid riders.

Delaney's green has always been on flame duty, even though she's mated to Vorth many times. It would be almost unheard of for Delaney to allow her to have a nest of eggs. Steadfast in her belief that the weyr's duty is to the world and to protect the people in the guilds and houses, and also quite loyal to Dawnlight's old-school policies, Delaney has many enemies among the new ranks of riders.

Gellth is a superb example of a fighting green. She has small scars from her work, but on the whole she is healthy and eager to remain in the sky. With Delaney's retirement from active duty, she seeks out any chance to fly or compete with other dragons.
